Robert Myers projects scoop BALI awards
Three separate Robert Myers Associates projects have won 2014 BALI National Landscape Awards, announced in a ceremony in London on 5 December.
J & S Scapes was principal winner in the category of domestic garden construction (£100,000-£250,000) for a new walled garden at a grade I listed manor house in Buckinghamshire. The design, which included a sunken lawn with a solid York stone retaining wall and steps, was credited as a very slick scheme demonstrating top-quality workmanship and described by the judges as ‘a masterclass in paving and pathways’.
NT Killingley was also a principal winner for the hard landscaping construction of our design for the new science block at Uppingham School. The judges credited the firm’s ‘excellent work’ on the project.
Nurture Landscapes was another principal winner, for the grounds maintenance at the Wellcome Trust’s Genome Campus in Cambridge, for which we produced the masterplan and several subsequent landscape designs.
